1. The Service

My CV Optimizer is an AI writing assistant that lets you upload or paste career documents — including resumes/CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn summaries, personal statements, and professional bios — and receive AI-generated rewrites and optimizations based on the purpose and context you provide. The Service is free to use.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By continued use of the Service you agree to these Terms. You confirm you are of legal age and, where you act for an organization, that you have authority to bind it. No account is required to use the Service, and you agree to provide accurate information when using it.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including by:

• using it unlawfully, or for fraud, spam, or abuse;
• infringing intellectual property or other rights;
• interfering with security (malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing technical limits);
• reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the Service.

4. AI outputs and your responsibilities

The Service uses generative AI. You are responsible for your prompts and uploaded content, for verifying the accuracy of outputs, and for having the rights to any content you submit. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before use; they are not professional, legal, or career advice. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and act on rights-holder complaints, including for repeated infringement.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, and branding. You retain rights to the content you upload, and you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

6. Pricing

The Service is provided free of charge. There are no fees, purchases, or subscriptions. If paid plans are introduced in the future, we will update these Terms before charging you.

7. Service availability and warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and given that the Service is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the maximum extent allowed, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

10. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
