These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of My CV Optimizer (the "Service"), provided by My CV Optimizer ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. You are contracting with My CV Optimizer.
My CV Optimizer is an AI writing assistant that lets you upload or paste career documents — including resumes/CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn summaries, personal statements, and professional bios — and receive AI-generated rewrites and optimizations based on the purpose and context you provide. Use of the Service may require purchasing credits.
By continued use of the Service you agree to these Terms. You confirm you are of legal age and, where you act for an organization, that you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information.
You must not misuse the Service, including by:
The Service uses generative AI. You are responsible for your prompts and uploaded content, for verifying the accuracy of outputs, and for having the rights to any content you submit. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before use; they are not professional, legal, or career advice. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and act on rights-holder complaints, including for repeated infringement.
We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation, and branding. You retain rights to the content you upload, and you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.
Payments, billing, taxes, currency, cancellations, and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller, Paddle. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for details.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
